Alexandria NAACP Announces Keynote Speaker Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan for Freedom Fund Gala

Alexandria, Monday, August 21, 2023 - The Alexandria branch of the NAACP is excited to
announce that the Honorable Jennifer McClellan, U.S. House of Representatives, will be the
distinguished keynote speaker at its upcoming Freedom Fund Gala. The gala, which celebrates the branch's 90th Anniversary, will take place on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at The Westin Alexandria.
The evening's program will feature presentations of awards to community leaders who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to civil rights and social change. Our Master of Ceremonies for the evening will be News Anchor, Tony Perkins of NBC4, a veteran Washington, DC journalist with ties to the extended Alexandria community.
